A word of advice

We should point out that if you've lost data and you don't have a backup there may still be a solution for you. Maybe you formatted a drive in error, or deleted files or folders you didn't mean to. We can often recover files or folders lost in this way even when they appear to be lost forever. Maybe your hard drive is not recognised by your computer due to a viral or hardware problem. All is not always lost - we may be able to regain access to your precious data and restore it to a safe place. In any such emergency you should stop using the faulty PC immediately, disconnect it from the network and Internet, and make sure that no programs are running in the background which may be writing data to the hard drive(s). Usually, the best thing to do is just to switch it off! Please give us a call and we can advise on the most appropriate course of action.
